The self-made toys give people double pleasure – first when you make them and then when you play with them. They are often simple to make, but require attention to both practicality and aesthetics.
The small blank cards and the sea motives serviettes gave me an idea to create the original “Beach memory” game for the summer (or to remind us about the summer once it is over). Let me share the idea with you.
Required materials
- Wooden box
- Sea motives serviette
- Scissors
- Blanc cards
- Decoupage glue
How to make it?
Paint the blank cards in a sand color and leave the to dry. Cut out the small pictures from the serviettes. Glue the pictures on the blank cards using decoupage technique. When cards are dry, put them in the box. The wooden box gives the cards an authentic character and at the same time serves as a storage.
