Pancakes are super tasty breakfast and after some practice you can prepare them very fast. You can serve them with jam, honey, Nutella or pudding.

Here you will find one of our favorite recipes which is very simple and easy to prepare and at the same time very tasty.

What do you need?

Ingredients provided below are usually enough for pancakes to feed 1 person.

  • 1 egg
  • 100 ml milk
  • 50 g plain flour

If you want to make a breakfast for 5 people just multiple the ingredients by 5:

  • 5 eggs
  • 500 ml milk
  • 250 g plain flour

You will also need a non-stick frying pan or pancakes maker.

How to prepare?

Put all ingredients together and mix them well with a mixer.

Heat the slightly oiled frying pan to a medium-high heat (if your stove has settings 1 to 9, then use 6).

Pour small amount of the mixture into the frying pan and bake it until it is no longer sticking to the surface.

Use a spatula to turn the pancake and bake it also on the other side. Once it is baked on both sides, take it out with the spatula, put it on a plate and repeat the same procedure for the next pancakes.

Advice and tips for successful pancakes

The thinner the pancakes are, the better.

Chose a good non-sticking frying pan or buy a pancakes maker if you have enough place in the kitchen.

You may need to practice a bit until you get used to the baking process. In the beginning the pancakes may stick to the pan, become too thick or a bit damaged when you turn them. If this happen, be patient and try again. After a while you will be proficient and will produce excellent pancakes.

Pancakes are consumed at their best when warm. You can serve them with your favorite jam, honey, Nutella or pudding.
